The World Up Close

When I started college, I was convinced that I was going to be a biological illustrator. As such, I spent a long time studying the world up close, trying to capture in exacting detail all that I saw. I loved looking at my surroundings with such a careful eye, but eventually I realized that I would much prefer to do scenic construction professionally and keep art as my passion project. This also allowed me to indulge more of my imagination, which I had sorely missed doing.
